Flowing in the Gift of a Word of Knowledge

A Word of Knowledge Is…

A Word of Knowledge is a Holy Spirit given revelation about a fact, a current circumstance, or something that took place in the past. This kind of word can reveal the whereabouts, conditions, nature, or thoughts of a person, place, or thing, even when it is impossible to know it in the natural. This can be especially true of words given for healing.

To answer the question “What is a word of knowledge?”

To learn how to minister words of knowledge for healing.

To learn how to recognize when we are receiving words of knowledge, that is,

how they may come to us or in what form we may receive them.

To

examine some practical insights for growing in the use of words of knowledge

for healing.

TO BE ACTIVATED IN WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE FOR HEALING

1 Corinthians 12: 8

 8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 

1 Corinthians 2:12-13

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God,

that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom

 teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches

Simply,

a word of knowledge

is a supernatural revelation of information received through the Holy Spirit. It is knowledge received apart from natural analysis or

human means. In this lesson we are focusing on Words of Knowledge for Healing

 In a worship service you might suddenly feel a pain in your shoulder and that might be a word of knowledge that you need to pray for someone for healing in their shoulder so you would ask if there is anyone here that needs healing in their shoulder?  If they respond then wisdom tells you to go for it!  If you are not in the position to lay hands on them you might suggest that the leadership follow up and it will be up to them if they ask you to assist or not just reach your hand out to them and pray silently if no one responds!

Or you might envision it in your mind's eye and you might have the liberty to speak or not, if not wisdom says pray silently for them and if possible speak out if appropriate to do so and let the leader's know somone might have a hurt, pain or sickness of some kind!

Dream of it?  I had a dream many years ago when I arrived for a visit and the Elder let me in and excorted me to the kitchen and I could plainly see his wife reclining on a sofa throuhg the glass sliding door going out to their Florida Room and her daughter was beside her in a chair just attentively wathing her mom!  I knew at that point that the Elder's wife was sick and got a sensing she was suffering from fybromalagia! (Word of Knowledge) I also prophetically heard these words, she feels down because she seems to always be looking from the outside in but is unable to be a part of what others are doing in the church but she is moving from the outside to the front, soon!  (Word of Knowledge or Word of Wisdom combination)  I knew she needed healing and I knew she needed a prophecy to open up that to her to increase her faith to do what God wanted her to do!)   I never spoke a word to the Elder's wife in the dream, only to him and then he escorted me to the front door and I pulled off and woke up!  End of Dream

I wondered what I must do, phone the Elder's wife, phone the pastor, the elder and the Lord gave me more wisdom and said, "Wait, I've got this!"  I continued to pray and wait on God!  

A few weeks went by and I arrived at Chruch and since I was what they considered the Music Minister  we practiced for our songs to sing and then the service started as usual with the Praise and worship and we sang the last song and ended our portion of the service and I realized that Pastor was not there but his wife took charge of the service and called for people to come down to the front by forming a line so she could pray for them and lay hands on them for healing or for whatever their need was!  

The surprising thing for me was that she called me down to assist her and I felt like a fish out of water!  Therefore, I just silently prayed while pastor's wife laid hands on the people that came for prayer and there was a rather long line and finally towards the end of the line arrived closer to us and I could plainly see the Elder's wife came forward and I was just going to assist the Pastor and let her handle things but she suddenly moved further to my left and motioned me to stand in front of the Elder's wife and I was surprised (not a usual happening) but I knew what to do because of the dream and the words of knowledge! 

I laid my hand on Elder wife's forhead and released healing in the name of Jesus and then spoke the prophecy out by saying what I heard God say, You, are coming from the outside to the inside and will become more of a part and a valuable one to the ministry at the church!  That ended the service and we were dismissed and the Elder's wife met me at the exit door and said, "

"As soon as you laid hands on me I was healed"  In less than a month her husband and her became the youth leaders and some of the best we had ever had, too!  God's word of wisdom I 've got this in my inner man saved the day and I saw how God operates with precision I didn't have to manipulate or do anything but wait on the Lord!

7  Ways to Receive Receive Revelation knowledge for Healing of for any other Need!

1)

Feel It

You may have a sharp pain in some part of your body,

a throbbing sensation, some other sensation,a strong emotion such as fear or panic.  Be careful that your feeling is not caused by a condition in your own body. For instance, if you often have pain in your left ear, you would not give that as a word of knowledge even if you get that pain during a meeting.

See It

You may get a mental picture, such as:

•a body part: perhaps a heart, a foot, an eye, a head,

•a person with a certain condition such as a limp,

• a person carefully holding his arm,

•a crutch, 

• eyeglasses, a person walking with a cane,

•a water bottle, a barbed wire fence, an auto accident.

• 3)

Read It

• you may see in your mind

• a person with a word written across his front or back, or over his head,

•a word written on a wall or on a carpet,

•something like a newspaper headline, or a banner.

4)

Think It

You may sense in your mind that someone has a particular condition, or

that the Holy Spirit has spoken the word to you. It is a mental impression.

5)

Say It

While talking or praying or standing with someone, unpremeditated words

may tumble out of your mouth relating to a physical condition you were

not aware of.

6)

Dream It

While sleeping, you may have a vivid dream in which:

•you have a new health problem

•you see someone with a health problem,

•you hear someone talking about a health problem, (Remember my dream about the Elder's wife

you see an event acted out before you like a movie, such as a hospital

scene or an accident.

7)

Experience It

Similar to dreaming it, you may have a vivid vision while awake. It may

be so strong that you are actually a part of what is happening, not just an

observer.

Sometimes these categories blend together. Is it a mental picture or a

vision? Vision could be likened to a “3D Technicolor movie”
